WHAT DOES AN EVENTS/BANQUET SET UP DO?
A Banquet Houseperson is an extremely vital position to help in delivering an excellent event experience for attendees. This person works very closely with the Supervisor, Conference Manager, and Group Contact. This position requires the ability to maintain composure under pressure. Some duties include but not limited to transporting tables & chairs to meeting rooms, removing equipment and returning to storage areas, setup classrooms to BEO specifications, and assisting with A/V setup. While the position greatly affects the overall cleanliness & appearance of the meeting areas, it’s also one of delivering the culture, and of course, passionately serving our guests. Relationships are the heart of what we do so building & strengthening relationships with our valued guests is what builds guest loyalty. Promoting brand awareness and delivering world-class service should be done with a laser focus.
